I am trying to change my eating habits and found that I really like fresh mushrooms. Do they have any extra benefits, or anything bad that I should consider? Also what other fresh vegs are good, especially for weight loss?

I knew a mushroom once. He was a real fungi.
But you have to watch out with mushrooms because some of them are just rude. I remember this one that always used to get fresh with me...

mushrooms are high in protien, and can be used as a meat replacement (i.e. portabellos)
