My aunt said that bat tastes like chicken, so im wondering why lots of people say things taste like chicken, like this guy said Tarantulas taste like chicken.

Because chicken is so easily changed to 'taste' like the ingredients. Therefore, "tastes like chicken" is just a term. If definitely does NOT mean that it actually tastes the same.

Because all reptilian species (snake, frog) are closer to birds (chicken) then to mammals (cow, pig, lamb).
When people say "it tastes like chicken", they're talking about eating some reptile meat. And yes, snake and frog taste very much like chicken. Alot of times, you wouldn't be able to taste the difference if they didn't tell you.

Don't believe them when they say that it taste like chicken! They don't! Ugh! I've tried some food that they say taste like chicken like frog and this large lizard (i forgot the name) and I swear they taste so different!!

everything tastes like chicken because everyone likes chicken. so saying it tastes like chicken must mean it is good.
