No you have the STD HPV (Human papillomavirus). This STD can cause genital warts, feet and hand warts, cervical cancer in women, and penile and rectal cancer. This is not herpes.
Genital herpes look like blisters. They can open and puss fluid and blood. Genital warts are very tiny and appear in clusters. They do not open or produce any kind of fluid.
I hope this helped.

Genital warts and herpes are not connected in any way whatsoever. Genital warts is HPV (human papaloma virus) and there are a few strains. One strain causes warts and the other causes cirvical cancer. The warts themselves can be eliminated by a cream or pill that is perscribed by your doctor. You really need to get tested for cirvical cancer just to be sure. There is a new vaccine that just came out on the market that COMPLETELY PREVENTS HPV so you might want to look into that as well. Even if the genital warts are already there, the vaccine may cause a bit of remission of the warts.

No. HPV (Genital Warts) and HSV (Herpes) are two different diseases. Their only similarity is that they don't go away. The good thing, however, if you can look at it this way, is that HPV, once gone (meaning warts are removed) do not tend to ever come back as the body's immune system suppresses it to such a minuscule level that it isn't strong enough to resurface again which means the likelihood of you transmitting it is pretty nil.
On the bad side, however, some forms of HPV have been linked to cervical cancer. But, they are the forms that do not cause visible warts (there are dozens of strains of HPV). So if you have visible warts, don't be too concerned about cervical cancer.
Still, you need to be careful who you sleep with because it could have been a lot worse. You could have contracted HIV as over 300,000 in the U.S. don't even know they have it.
Don't feel isolated either. Nowadays, HPV is extremely common and Herpes, as well. They just don't admit to it. Sad but true.

Take care of your self. Go to the doctor. You need to have the warts treated as soon as you have an outbreak, now or in the future years. It can cause Cervical cancer. It also doesn't rule out other STDs which you can still get or you can get a worse form of genital warts than you already have. Condoms don't prevent it because it comes from skin to skin contact.
Why risk your life and your future capability to have children. Consider this as a wake-up call to live a chaste life until marriage.
You can start over from this point and don't let anyone talk you out of your resolve.
God Bless You,

No you have HPV Thats what caused the outbreak of warts. Your doctor should have told you this, HPV is a std and can cause cervical cancer or abnormal cells on the cervix. It is a virus so their is no way to get rid of it but you can remove the warts it's very painful but worth it! you need to ask you doctor for a biopsy to make sure you dont have the warts inside your cevix or ovaries. Good luck

Genital warts and herpes are totally different. Just because you have genital warts doesn't mean you have herpes. You research the internet to learn more about genital warts.

You need to ask because you could have both genital warts and herpes, one could be causing the other. But seriously how could he not explain your condition to you thoroughly. You need to speak with him again!

No, herpes is an entirely different matter, however you should get the warts treated because the HPV virus has been known to cause cervical cancer in women.
