Many San Franciscans name the Inner Sunset as their favorite neighborhood, despite the fact that it suffers some of the worst weather in the entire Bay Area. ... comes with choice of shawarma, crispy falafael, Greek salad ... of the few places in San Francisco.

I've tried a bunch of shawarma places but I'm also still searching for a good one in SF. A lot are overpriced and try to be too fancy. So far, the one I've been most satisfied with is Truly Mediterranean@3109 16th St (Valencia).
However, if you like falafels, my two favorite places are Sunrise Deli@2115 Irving St (22nd Ave) and King of Falafel@1801 Divisadero St (Bush St). Really good flavor, nice and fresh so they're crispy on the outside and still warm on the inside.
