You might just have to wait until they plants start flowering. I've been searching for a picture or something that would help, but found nothing. If memory serves, the zucchini flower is larger than the cuke. Other than that, I don't know for sure.
I do remember that the zucchini flower was really pretty. The cuke one wasn't. Great idea Eric!!!
Cucumber leaves are triangular in shape with pointed lobes. The leaves are large, dark green, and have a slightly rough texture.
Leaves of zucchini also are quite large, with more notches per leaf than crookneck and straightneck squash. Zucchini leaves also are characterized by having light greenish gray splotches and streaks on the leaf surface. These light markings are sometimes mistaken for a mildew problem.

a zucchini will have a tusky thing on the head of it, it will be smaller and darker green than a cucumber. Plus if you open one up you can tell right away, cucumber has alot of seeds and is very ligh green and wet and zucchini is a form of squash and it wont be overly moist and there will be no space inside specifically for the seeds like in cucumbers.

A cucumber is plumper and juicier inside, while a zucchini is smaller on one end with a hard piece at the very end and is drier inside. they taste much different. Cucumbers are better in cold salads and zucchini in cooked sauces or casseroles.

The fact that you're colour blind makes it a little more difficult. Cucumbers are smoother to the touch. Zucchini have a ridged part where they meet the vine, where cucumbers don't. Also, where they meet the vine, a cucumber is slimmer ... a zucchini may have to be cut, not picked ... it's that thick.

Go to Google Images and search for "cucumber leaf" and "zucchini leaf". It looks like zucchini leaves are frillier than cucumber leaves.
