I choose BBQ if there's ribs. Are there ribs and maybe some cheeseburgers?

It depends on the amount of people attending. If a small family then a picnic can be great, but a large family ie, kids cousins Aunts and Uncles and so on, the a BBQ would be the way.

Picnic for four or less for a more romantic feeling; BBQ for a large group of friends.

Both are great overall!

Well, where I live, a picnic is something you go to, and BBQ is something you eat! So I say - eat BBQ at the Picnic and have both!
