Every once in a while because I only became vegetarian 20 days ago. But when it's early in the morning and infomercials are playing and it's for cooking items and they are making steak and what not I get a craving and then I have to say to myself "Just think that use to be a cow, eating grass, and going to the bathroom. It could have even been a favorite to a child and they even named it Chuck." that kind of turns me off from feeling bad. And may I suggest meatless riblets if you are a vegetarian.

No, I could live without meat, that's one of the reasons I went vegetarian anyway. Besides, there are mock versions of steak and ribs.

No, I don't miss meat at all. I have plenty of other things to eat. The smell of cooking meat always puts me off anyway (I did love the smell once) as I have been vegetarian for about 18 years.

Good question though!

I do at times miss the taste of meat. It's only normal. My family has been eating meat for countless of generations, and I for the first 15 years of my life I was a moderate meat eater. Anyone that says they don't miss the taste of meat is most likely lying. It's planted into us, from our genes, and if you grew up eating meat then it's sort of a comfort food.

When you realize all the harmful effects of eating meat, both to yourself and to the environment, especially the animal itself-- your appetite for meat goes down significantly, and you'll find yourself being extremely pleased eating other foods.

I wouldn't bring myself to eat meat. I think I would rather eat toe fungus. I would just feel way too bad. In all ways.

I love being a raw food vegan! :) Hope this helped.

Sometimes, but I don't miss it enough to eat it~seems as if right before I became a vegetarian every time I would try to eat something with meat in it I would find something I considered gross in it...........like I would see a big ol vain, or bite down on a gristle,etc......... that and the fact that I have some cattle and chickens myself and I would get to thinking about them.

Not in the least. I have so much more variety on my plate now that meat, of any type, never gets missed.

steak? Ribs? no. never liked them. The only meat I did eat when I wasn't a vegan was chicken breast, turkey breast, and canned tuna. And the few assorted lunch meats, ham, turkey, pepperoni, sausage, bacon.................... I miss the chicken the most..........
