The ones I have bought do not. Just read the label. The whole point of making them is to sell to a health conscious public, so I doubt that any of them contain nitrates. Still its better to get in the habit of reading labels of everything you buy that you are going to consume.

No not as a rule. Nitrates are to reduce meat spoilage. To be sure of what you are getting read your labels carefully.
