I am vegetarian. I do not believe one thing written in that book. I eat chicken sometimes. It is my wish.

"Hitler was a vegetarian, Look how he turned out. " Lie. Hitler had a very sensitive stomach and occasionally would not be able to digest meat. Besides, Osama Bin Laden, Mussolini, Bush, Ghengis Khan, Napolean, Hussein, Khadafi, and most other dictators and mass-murders are avid meat eaters. Killing animals for fun makes killing humans that much easier.
"we all need a little meat the body does" Lie. If it were true, vegetarians wouldn't be alive.
I don't think it's the animal's fears and agressions that cause meat-eaters to be violent - it's their own fears and agressions.

I am vegetarian and I don't share your opinion.
I want to tell you an example: My mother is also vegetarian and she bashed me a lot when I was a child. So vegetarianism has nothing to do with less violence. Many people are violent because their parents were also violent.
For negative emotions: You can't stop depressions with becoming vegetarian, but I know, on the other hand, many vegetarians that are depressive. This may have nothing in common, but at least it's a proof that vegetarians do have negative emotions.

Holy Crap, but then we could think that plants have feelings and fears too, and would not eat them. I guess we could all become Buddha and not even want to walk in the grass unless someone is ahead of us first so thgat we can follow their path and say that we have never even killed a microscopic animal. I just ate a nice, big, juicy hamburger, but i love veggies too. This is too funny. Those people that wrote the book are weird, but everybody is entitled to their opinion, you never know, there are so many unanswered questions out there, it could be true......

I stopped eating meat and I feel less violent because I know I'm not to blame for some innocent animal's death. The whole thing about eating animal flesh though, yea, I think it could be true. Maybe. I dunno. Sometimes myself though, I eat meat, on a rare occasion, but I don't really feel different, except for guilt.

I know dead rotting animal flesh carrys a lot of unhealthy bacteria and lots of other gross stuff. I would prefer beans and corn bread any day to that. Or a bean burrito

Come to think of it, there was a huge change in my life(mood wise) when I first became a vegetarian. However, from a scientific point of view, I think it was because I was much healthier, and had started taking better care of my body.

interesting theory. I don't believe it.They also say you get your vitamin D indirectly by eating meat because plants soak up sun (vitamin D), then the vit D gets distributed through their systems, then through your system when you eat the meat. I don't eat meat because I don't like the texture, or the way it tastes

That is nonsense. Many good people have been meat eaters. Jesus ate fish.
And its widely believed that Hitler was a vegetarian.
