(*^o^*)IT'S GOOD! ~♡Sushi is NOT only RAW fish, I think many people really don't understand that so they shy away from it. ('Raw fish' is called 'Sashimi' by the way.) Sushi can be made with many toppings, cooked fish and shell fish, vegetables, egg... It's really quite GOOD if you give it a try. Sushi can be made with or without wasabi too, usually here in Japan some children don't like wasabi, later it becomes an acquired taste, same with sushi. I like most types of sushi although I have to honestly say there are one or two I don't like. So it all depends on the individual. (*^o^*)But, you have to try it before you can decide if you like it or not. It's also healthy AND delicious!♡
☆inari-zuzhi has NO fish whatsoever, just delicious seasoned rice with veggies (depending on the area) in deep fried tofu pockets- DELICIOUS!

Why shouldn't they?

Just because YOU don't like it, do you REALLY think no-one else should? That's a very arrogant attitude.

Live and let live! No matter how many people eat sushi, it won't hurt YOU!

Why do people eat Hot Dogs?
We eat Sushi because we love it. I don't know what you don't get about it but if you tried them you would see why we eat them. I even make them myself with my favorite filler. Why people get the idea that the only thing that Japanese eat is raw fish is a lot of bunk. I use Smoked Salmon in mine and it's delicious.

You're one of those people who thinks sushi is raw fish, aren't you!!

For your information, it's NOT! There's a wide choice of sushi - some has raw fish, some doesn't! Oh, and don't worry! Sushi NEVER involves Penguins!! lol!

(I would have thought - as you claim to be an Eskimo - that YOU would have eaten raw fish on occasion?!!)
; )

It's trendy. People don't like eating sushi, they just like letting people know they eat sushi.

It's nummy! I love sushi and sashimi, so tasty and healthy. The strange thing is, I hate ceviche. Sashimi is so clean tasting, yet ceviche tastes like nasty raw fish. Go figure.

It's also very pretty to look at, so artfully made, almost too beautiful to eat... almost. Sushi and sashimi look so delicate, as if they won't fill you up. Ah but it does, and very much so.

In Japanese cuisine, sushi is a food made of vinegared rice combined with various toppings or fillings.

In Japan the word sushi refers to a broad range of foods prepared with sumeshi or sushi meshi, vinegared rice. Sushi toppings or fillings can include seafood, meat, vegetables, mushrooms or egg, Sushi toppings may be raw, cooked, or marinated. In the Western world, sushi is often misunderstood to mean clumps of rice topped with raw fish, or even simply raw seafood, which is properly called sashimi.

There are various types of sushi. Sushi served rolled in nori (seaweed), is called maki (rolls). Sushi made with toppings laid onto hand-formed clumps of rice is called nigiri; sushi made with toppings stuffed into a small pouch of fried tofu is called inari; and sushi made with toppings served scattered over a bowl of sushi rice are called chirashi-zushi, or "scattered sushi."

real sushi is qiute good.

I think everyone likes some type of sushi, but you have to be willing to try 99 other types first that make you puke. When you find that one that doesn't, you'll love it for life.

I only ate sushi once. It might be because the rice is sweet or they like the taste of it. I personally prefer meat more than rice and fish skin......

Because to us, it tastes good. Well, most of it. There's some sushi that I can't handle.
