people have been trying to lecture me out of this lifestyle everywhere, everyday. i wonder why they dont bother sticking to their own business

they have nothing better to do then to judge you on the way you live your life and since it isn't the way they live theirs then it's automatically wrong in their eyes.

It's a backlash against the extremist habits and beliefs you have, brought on by some obnoxios raw fooder/vegetarian/vegan in the past. You probably haven't been preachy, condascending or rude to meat eaters. But there are a lot out there who have. And they suck.
Eating meat is the mainstream, and vegetarian is becoming more and more accepted. I am a vegetarian and my friends often joke about meat. "whould you like some steak with that" etc.
I laugh it off.
I don't mind christians or religious people. but when they wake me up knocking on my door to impose their beliefs on me I tell them to f*#k off. Same theory applies to vegans.

They are ignorant and don't understand the concept. If it makes you feel good and healthy good for you. Some people are just so locked in their habits and ways, and they just can't see passed what they have known to be "true" their whole lives. I'm not a raw foodie, but I respect your choice to eat for your health in a way that makes you feel good.

It seems like people who do this are somehow threatened, like it requires them to think about what they eat. I'm not sure why people try to make it an issue. After all, its just FOOD.

Most vegetarians or vegans who I have had the displeasure of meeting have been very rude and insist on me not eating meat. Even though I do not infringe on their rights by insisting they eat meat.

People always trip out when I order my steak rare too. They tell me that all that blood grosses them out. don't look at my plate is what I would like to tell them. I don't bag on them when they eat sushi.

People are nosey and stupid. They just don't get it when something is outside of their norm. Deep breaths. Don't mind them.
