Answer; Yes Yes Yes
its an ancient Egyptian tradition..
But to get the full taste out of them you need to sun dry them then bake them and then salt them, try not to burn them in the oven as you bake them and slightly salt them my yahoo friend.
Bet you become addicted to them.
Simply wishing you the best of luck,
Garry
P.S
oh but don't ferget you don't eat the seed itself but break it open with your teeth for the treat inside.. you sound like you would adore a trip to Cairo..

Not iceburg lettuce, not for anything! Not oranges either or anything citrusy, like lemons or limes. You can cut her up some apple really small as a treat sometimes, or my old hammy seemed to like strawberry. Any fruits are pretty OK for them though, except of course citrusy ones. (listed some above). Pears may be ok, banana, blueberry, grapes are idk, etc. But her regular diet should be hamster food purchased at walmart or the pet shop. And dont forget to fill her water tube every day or every other day! also hold her at least twice a day, or buy a small hamster/pet fence to let her run in to get excersise! a silent weel is also convenient for your sake also! ;)

Yes you can eat them. Try roasting them in the oven on low heat, may take a while to figure it out. They sell Pumpkin Seeds to eat just like Sunflower seeds.

Sure can - you'll actually get some goodness out of them if you crack the seed and just eat the kernel, although it's fiddly and you get a very small kernel for your efforts.

Yup, you can. pumpkin seeds roasted are also GR8!!!!
Enjoy. Stop when your body has had enough.
I can't eat almonds anymore after years of eating them...they make me feel sick...weird. don't think I can handle the arsenic levels in them. sorry if you didn't know that. If you feel a little off after/while eating almonds, now you know why. that simple! :)

Yes. The body will not digest the seed if it is not broken by chewing.
