It's not that simple. It depends on how the vegetarians support their need for protein. In the US I have seen many washed out vegetarians clinging to a belief, while causing anemia to their body because they don't get enough protein. In Asia, because it is such a way of life in many places, they have a perfectly balanced diet. Here's a link to comments from many vegetarians.

We have a glow, not shine. It is called happy and healthy.

We also generally have clearer skin because of the amount of water in our diet. Just a side benefit of proper nutrition like a vegan diet.

I don't believe they shine more, but it is possible for them to have better skin than non-vegetarians. I am a semi-vegeterian and I have very good skin.

Not that I have ever seen, in fact my sister was a veg for over 10 years and her skin started turning yellow-ish! Her doctor suggested re-thinking the veggie thing. Seems as she was aging her body needed different nutrition and so on.... so back to meat it was... chicken and fish, and only organic!

No, they have ashen complexions and sunken eyes. Kind of like cadavers that just won't stay down. The only way they'll ever shine is if somebody waxes them.

No, on the contrary, pay real close attention and one could almost see the skull. Skin becomes thin, eyes sink and other beauties.I saw this effect in people deprived of protein(animal) from yes, you guessed it India.

No, no one would be able to tell the difference. Sorry. :(

The only thing that could possibly make your face glow is being pregnant. That's where the expression, "Oh, women have this glow when they get pregnant," comes from.
