Tough question but it all boils down to what you can and cannot live with... Was this kept from when you committed? It is life threatening?... Is this just the excuse you were already looking for?... Or does cause a commitment question??.....This isn't something any of us can answer for you, this must come from within... Good luck

Many STD's one can have for a long time and not know it. So don't immediately accuse them of cheating. If you are very serious in the relationship, many std's can be dealt with by using condoms, going to the doctor for treatment, etc. STD's such as clamydia, are easily cured, and many many people have it without knowing it. It does not mean necessarily they cheated on you. HPV is another that one can have and not know it. Be sympathetic, and understanding. SO many ppl have them nowadays it may not be worth sacrificing a good relationship!

Well first thing to do would be for you to get checked quickly. I assume you have done it. I don't wish to alarm you but just because you didn't contrcat the actual disease, you may still be a carrier, hence pass it on to someone else.

In a committed relationship, you would question why the other preson had a need to stray (Bad enough) worse even, have unprotected sex, iknowing that he was putting himself and partner at risk.

I personally would regard it as the last betrayal ever and would say my good byes. I wouldn't want to remain with someone i could never trust again.

Well, obviously if a person got an S.T.D. then they cheated. And if they cheated they are not very comitted. I have learned the hard way that once a person cheats 1 time and you let them get away with it, they WILL do it again. So, I would leave. How much can you love a person if you are willing to put them at risk of catching an S.T.D.? I dont understand what you meant by"the other person didnt get the s.t.d." Who is the other person?

the first thing you do is go to the docter and see if you got the std or anything. then find out if you or your partner's std can be fully cured. what i would do is... if my partner(if i really wanted to be with that person like in love) had an std that could be fully cured i would wait for them to take the medicine and stuff. but if it was a viral infection(could be cured but never go away) i would probably break up.

If my boyfriend had std, i'd leave 'em. I know it sounds so rude and makes me oh-thats-so-nasty kind of person, but you have to be practical here, if you're in a committed relationship, what's the point of havin it if you have to be so cautious of everything you do sometiems. you know? But it's your decision. But it's what I would do. Being practical.

For me, that would depend on the std, and how long I had been with the person.

If I had been with him for years, and all of a sudden he has gonorrhea or chlamydia, I would end it because he had to have been cheating. You can only have those for several months without having symptoms.

If it was syphilis, herpes or hpv, and I had no other indication that he had been cheating, then I would stay. You can have those for years without knowing.

Good luck!
