Pour about half of you cake mix into the pan next pour a layer of raspberry jam then pour the rest of your cake mix on top of the raspberry jam. Make sure you let it cool real well after you take it out of the oven.

Bake a two-layer cake out of a chocolate cake mix. Then get some good quality raspberry jam (seedless or w/ seeds, your choice) and make a good chocolate buttercream. (better than canned, but I suppose canned will do). Put the jam on the bottom layer, spread to within 1" of edges, then top w/ 2nd layer, and frost w/ icing. Ta Da!

Make a round chocolate cake and once it cools cut through the middle and set aside the top layer. Spread raspberry filling on the bottom layer, put the top layer on top and then frost it with what ever you like.
