Any time. But I tend to like the evenings just because I don't want to get up early. Most of my big fish were caught in the middle of the day.

I went fishing for mackerel and sardines off the Port Hueneme pier in Oxnard and we started catching bucket fulls when the sun started to set and it started to sprinkle. I think the rain had something to do with it.
