HIV is present in all body fluids (abundant in semen & vaginal fluid) like blood, saliva etc.
HIV can spread only through contact between these fluids.Hence it is considered to be safe to shake hands or dry kiss!

It's a blood borne virus. People used to get it from transfusions, but they can screen for that now. Doesn't help the one ones that got it that way though.
