JAMS is correct. Disregard every other answer, unless someone who's QUALIFIED answers. But, you probably would be unsure of the correct answer, because you are a layman, too. What if your question was, I think I'm having a heart attack, and my right arm hurts. What if you were comfortable with an answer like this; 'You are probably very stressed out is all. You should sit down and rest, and if it doesn't go away by tomorrow, maybe you should go and see a doctor. Anyway, it's only pain in your left arm that you need to worry about. Pain in your right arm means that it couldn't be a heart attack'. Would you take this advise? This was a real question, and the 'asker' chose this answer as the 'best answer'. His choice was so wrong that that he could have put this person in great danger. No one knows.

Most people, when it comes to their heart will pick an answer that makes them most comfortable. It's called denial. It couldn't happen to me. I've never had any heart problems. Obviously, it can. DO NOT ASK OR ANSWER medical questions online. Do you see why?

If you don't have insurance, you can go to a county hospital.

Stay safe, and the best of luck to you. Go to my Q@As, and contact me if you have further concerns. I would be more than happy to suggest any medical direction..

No. Unless the gas pain is so severe that it causes the heart rate and blood pressure to increase. And the person has a predisposition to heart attack such as clogged arteries.

No, but gas pain can be so severe that it mimics chest pain. Something to try for gas pain is simethicone, which is in products like Gas-X and Mylanta.
