You'll definately like sake nigiri-zushi (salmon finger sushi). Just a bit of wasabi makes it even better.

I also recommend a crunch roll, which is tempura bits mixed with mayo, rolled up with a strip of salmon.

Try as many varietys as your budget allows! There is barely a type of sushi that I've tried that I don't like.

Spicy tuna rolls and unagi are a personal favorite of mine...def try crunch rolls (usually has shrimp) and rainbow rolls (has variety of raw fish on top of rice). yum!

I personally love California Rolls, I'm addicted to them. I wouldn't recommend the whole raw fish deal, but if your daring go ahead! But one time I bit into a roll with squid in it.....Enough said.

Please make me your best answer, I'm depressed 'cause I don't have any California Rolls and I've had a craving for them for like a month....thanks

I don't know how it works in the US, but try to look for Tempura(fried on top), Norimaki, Temaki.

Of course don't forget to drink sake while you are eating sushi

You may want to go to the nigiri or sashimi now.
sashimi has no rice, just the seafood.
try eel, salmon etc.
there is a cool video on youtube about how to eat sushi:
