I dont want him to think I am doing something bad I just dont want him to find out that I am planning this thing for him... how can I keep it from him with out him thinking I am doing something bad. you can tell him that you are helping your mom or your friend plan a surprise party for someone *annie* or whatever, make someone up. You can even ask him for his help lol that way if somebody slips or you get a phone call about a birthday cake, you can cover it up and say "oh yeah they had a problem with annie's cake, it won't be delivered until 2 instead of 1..."

this way, you can ask him things like "what do you think about these tablecloths" or whatever, and get his opinion...then he'll be sure to love his party and he'll never know that he was helping to plan it for himself. The day of the party, act like you are going to annie's party and go to his instead.

Just an idea :)

don't let your 3 year old know...too young to keep a secret...have a friend help out w/ plans so that your boyfriend won't be wondering what you are doing if you do all the planning...

i'd keep the 3-year old out of the planning. that way, he doesn't know anything to say anything.
