AIDS, HPV (some kinds) and syphilis (if left untreated) can be deadly.

HIV progresses more rapidly into full-blown AIDS without treatment, usually because of infections that develop as a result of the patients weakened immune system.

Since there are strains of HPV that are linked to cervical cancer, failing to seek treatment can be fatal. But since many types of HPV are basically harmless, they need only be monitored with yearly Pap smears (or more frequently -- every three to six months -- if a result comes back abnormal).

Untreated syphilis can lead to serious damage to the brain and the nervous system; mental deterioration; a loss of balance, vision, and sensation; leg pain; and heart disease. A fetus is at particular risk if the mother doesn't seek treatment; the chances for stillbirth and serious birth defects, including blindness, are very high.

Gonorrhea will not kill you but it can cause some serious health problems for both men and women.

In women, it can cause:
* life-threatening complications such as ectopic pregnancy (outside the womb)
* blocked fallopian tubes (the tubes which carry the egg from the ovaries to the womb), which can result in reduced fertility or infertility
* long-term pelvic pain

In men, it can lead to:
* painful inflammation of the testicles, which may result in reduced fertility or sterility

there are many std's that can kill people. AIDS,syphillis,gonorhea,HPV,. AIDS is the oldest of the 4 std's that should've been had a cure.I believe that the GOVERNMENT has a cure for everything,every std every ailment but i believe that you have to be rich and wealthy to receive the cure.look at Magic Johnson he has HIV/AIDS since they founded the disease and he is still here and you can't even tell that he has anything. they claim they haven't found a cure b/c if you look at statistics, they prove that in 8 out of 10 of std/aids cases the majority of infected people are minority (majority african american). i think they may be trying to make african americans extinct. just giving you some food for thought. I know I got off topic but I don't even care. I just thought that the internet needed to know this.

The ones you don't take care off. Even if they are curable and you don't get them cured,they can lead to different side effect, that can eventually damage different body organs which in the long run can be fatal. So bottom line take care of yourself.

AIDS is the only one I know capable of being fatal. Others are treated, although may not be cured, example Herpes.

Syphillis and gonorrhea if left untreated end up killing you in a slow and somewhat distasteful manner.
