I think they should. But the problem is that not all pregnancies are planned. I had a needle stick injury at work, so I did wait and get tested before we planned our first baby. I just was not comfortable planning a baby and not knowing if the needle I got poked with gave me HIV or not.

Celebrities are just like anyone else. The only difference between them and us..They are well known all over the world and have money to throw away... If they should get infected with the disease they have access to the best Doctors.
What makes the difference people actually caring to get tested on a regularly basis.. especially those that are sexually active and have multiple sex partners. Most just don't care, or just don't believe contracting the virus wont happen to them.
This disease does not discriminate regardless of status, sex, age, or race.
To answer the question..Some may. But most probably don't plan to get pregnant. When you are pregnant, HIV test is done to make sure the mother is not carrying the virus. If so, they are able to protect the child from contracting the disease.

I don't think most will do a test. Some will have children only long after they wed. Others are already having sex well before marriage. So it is unlikely that they will have a HIV test before they consider havfing children.

i think that getting an HIV test done takes a lot of will-power as the outcome of the result changes your life completely. a lot of people who get tested bear this in mind and of-course if they think the can handle the result they go for it. If you are planning on having a baby you need to prepare yourself for all sorts of scenarios because whether you get tested before pregnancy or not you still get tested especially if you or your partner are from the percentage of the population highly affected by the virus. it is now the responsibility of the health services to reduce mother baby transmission at all cost whether they get your permission to test or not. with celebrities i think the possibility of being isolated by the -listed celebrities stops them from openly saying they got tested and got such and such results, they keep mum about such things. having an HIV test is still taboo to the community as a whole and as a result people tend to keep their tests to themselves and those on a need to know basis.

Let say you have yourself check and do all the right thing to be clean and let said you will ask like you other half to do the same and the other half said I have, let say the other half don't and you end up with Aids,or an STD
You know what you need to see paper before you let someone have sex with you because you never know who have an STD or who not better safe then sorry,
Plus uses protection that your only hope if you need to have sex

no and anyway just because your partner was 100% honest with you doesn't mean whoever they've slept with before was honest with you, they could tell you the truth and still have contracted the HIV virus
