I am going to eat an extra 10 animals this year just for you.
I just got done eating elk steak. That is a big animal, I know I was draging it out of the mountains after I gutted it. Man it was heavy it should count for more then say the rabbit I ate last winter.
Is there a scale for animal weight like an elk counts as 20 animals but a rabbit counts as half an animal?
I need to know so I can eat your share. But if you think a person eats 10 cows a year you are crazy. I will try for 10 cows but that is alot of beef.

That's some wild statistic. I went veggie in 89 and last year started to eat fish again and am now on the verge of eating meat again. Nothing changed by me stopping eating meat.
I think we should be more worried about saving the lives of people and not worry quite so much about the animals. Think how much benefit you can give to people by eating only Fair Trade products where they exist.

Yes and if we all become vegetarian the competion for arable land would be such that all the cute animals would be killed to allow room to grow soya.
Evangellical vegetarians,just dont like them
A vege comes to your house for tea,you feed em vegetarian, you go to theirs,do you get your choice of food;No way!
And by the way,we are not carnivores or vegetarians, the human race has evolved to be OMNIVORES which means "eat everything.

And even if you are a vegetarian, you are killing 100s or 1000s of animals per year because when the crops that you eat are being cut down, 100s of field mice, rabits, and snakes are killed. At least we (meat eaters) eat what we kill!

nope nope not true (or at least i doubt it is) im a vegetarian but slaughter houses and hunters and the such don't really keep count of how many people eat the meat... the animals will still be killed just maybe 10 less will be eaten...

It's ironic that someone commenting on the lack of meat-eater's intelligence can't get something so simple right. It's PEA brain, as in the size of a pea. I guess the veggies aren't working so well.

But you would take away thousands of seeds (which could not become plants), plants.
Would they be enough plants to feed this many people? I guess not. Starvation, crimes so on would be rampact.
Better the animals than us humans.
