Be careful taking so much Apirin each day..it is not just a pain reliever..it is also what is termed..anti-coagulant. It thins the blood and makes you suceptible to bleeding and easily bruising. My advice as a registered nurse is to go to your doctor and explain what has been going on. They can then order the appropriate blood work up and talk to you about the results and things to do regarding your health. Tell them about your familial history too, it is important. Stay safe and get cracking to the doctor ok..:)

I think the aspirin makes you feel better because it now has the reputation of helping you live if you have a cardiovascular event. My guess is that you have some post-traumatic stress from your dad's stroke. ...Especially if you are young. If you are concerned about your own CV system, the best thing to do is go to your doc and ask for a baseline lipid panel. They'll test your blood for cholesterol and other things that can indicate how you're doing in terms of your heart and blood vessels. If this is normal, it'll help you sleep easier, and if not, you can take care of it before it is too late!

Don't trust it to heartburn. Most heart attacks come on that way. Go have your doctor do a blood test on you and
have also a EKG, it will provide info on your heart rate. The blood test should cover your cholesterol levels, CBC,liver, kidneys. I went for the same problem. Upon viewing the EKG they found my heart rate abnormal. For 24 hours I was walking around at home with a heart monitor on. This Friday I am having a stress test done
along with a test like a ultra sound but this one is for the heart only. So take every precaution because there is only one of you..

i would see a dr if i were u.. it could be heart, cholesterol issues. it could also be heartburn/acid reflux issues (brought on by diet and/or stress) which are worse @ night in a horizontal position. u can try an at home remedy like tums, pepsid ac or zantac. but if you're having these symptoms EVERY night then it's best to be checked out by a dr. for diagnosis and possible RX medication. better safe than sorry.

how old are you?
usually strokes and other such problems are seen elderly hypertensives.
Regarding headache,i think you are stressed out too much.
For the person to be called as hypertensive he should have at least three times high B.P.at three different circumstances.
As your father died of stroke, you should be extrapecautionary, you shd avoid extra calories ,alcohol,cigarette.... and do regular exercise
