it depends, but if it is refrigerated with a tight seal it should remain at least viable for 12 months, althought the full flavor will begin deteriorating after a month.

After opening refridgerate it. you can increase the storage life still further by using a product developed for preserving oopen wine bottles and their contents. (it also prevents skinning over for open paint can contents). The productis called "bloxygen" (or "finish preserve at Lee Valley Tools).
It is a bottle of compressed gas. The gas is heavier than air and is not chemically active. Spraying a little gas into a can or jar just before closing it tightly, sinks to the level of the food. This gas is heavier than air so the air lies above the protective inert gas layer and out of contact with the food. Oxygen that is a 21% constituent of air. Oxygen chemically combined with the oil in the curry and oxidises it. Oxidised oil is rancid oil, which spoils the taste of the curry.
