I think its great that you want to try out restaurant-style cuisine in your own home! Variety is the spice of life, you know. Anyway, here is a recipe for fajitas, which I love. It is simple, easy, and delicious. (Since I only eat chicken, this recipe uses chicken breasts. But you could certainly substitute the chicken for sirloin steak)
Grilled Chicken Fajitas
1/4 cup lime juice
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast halves, cut into 4x1/4-inch strips
1 medium onion, cut into 1/4-inch slices
8 Old El Paso® flour tortillas (8 inches in diameter)
1 cup Old El Paso® salsa (any variety)
1/2 cup guacamole, if desired
1. Mix lime juice, oil and chili powder in shallow glass or plastic dish or heavy-duty resealable plastic food-storage bag. Add chicken and onion; turn to coat with marinade. Cover dish or seal bag and refrigerate at least 1 hour but no longer than 24 hours.
2. Brush grill rack with vegetable oil. Heat coals or gas grill for direct heat.
3. Remove chicken and onion from marinade; reserve marinade. Cover and grill chicken and onion 4 to 6 inches from medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, brushing frequently with marinade and turning once, until chicken is no longer pink in center. Discard any remaining marinade.
4. Divide chicken and onion among tortillas, placing in center. Fold one end of tortilla up about 1 inch over chicken mixture; fold right and left sides over folded end, overlapping. Fold remaining end down. Top with salsa and guacamole.

Flour tortillas (the thin kind)
chicken fajitas, onion slices, green bell pepper strips, bacon and garlic.
In a skillet, cook the bacon first sliced in small pieces, until cooked, set aside and cook onions, garlic and green bell pepper until onion is transparent. Add chicken fajitas, and cook until well done, you could also cook them separately but use a fajita seasoning. Add the bacon.
Once it´s ready take a flour tortilla, heat it in a pan, turn it over once, if you did it right, the tortilla should inflate some, if not, then it´s ok, but watch them because they burn really fast. Put it on a plate and put some of the fajita mixture, add mozarella or any other fast melting cheese (no processed american please), and slices of avocado. Fold and eat with either pico de gallo salsa (chopped tomato, onions, cilantro and serrano or jalapeño chiles, all raw) with some salt and lemon juice added (optional), or a salsa made tomato, garlic, onion and cilantro, plus some salt and ground in a blender, with a little water. (you can cook this in some hot oil until it turns dark, or eat it raw as well, the cooked salsa lasts longer). Sometimes you can get larger flour tortillas, if you roll it up like a giant taco you can even eat it with a fork and knife. This is an authentic Mexican recipe. enjoy it.

Your recipe should not be only easy toprepare, but easy to get ingredients.
Fisrt, try to use Fresh Ingredients.
As meat, you may use ground beef and boneless chicken, but you may try out something different, like shrimps ot fish.
Red Onion
Bell Peppers (here you can be colorful by using green, red, yellow and/or orange bell peppers)
minced garlic
lime/lemon
cilantrillo
Sour Cream / Guacamole
Mild Jalapeño Tabasco Sauce (Green One)
Olive Oil
Salt and pepper
Large Flour Torillas
On a saucepan, pour olive oil in a med-high heat... Add the garlic, onion and pepper... Add your preferd meat. Cook until done. Salt and Pepper to your taste add the juice of the lemon as desired (it is your taste!!)
Pre-heat your flour or corn tortilla in the microwave for 15 secs.
Add the meat mixture on the center of the tortilla and add the cilantrillo. If wanted, you may add sour cream and/or guacamole.
Here comes the creative part. You may warp it it now.... and garnish with cilantrillo and shredded cheese on top of it, along with a dash of the Mild Jalapeño Tabasco.... Give it 15 more secs on the Microwave too melt the cheese....
