Generally, STDs are not passed by coming in contact with a toilet seat. Most STDs are only transmitted during sexual contact, either by skin-to-skin contact or through body fluid exchange. Crabs, or pubic lice, may be transmitted through sexual contact, sleeping in infected bedding, sharing infected clothing and possibly through sitting on an infested toilet seat. However, lice cannot survive away from the human body for longer than 24 hours. So contracting pubic lice from a toilet seat is possible, but it's unlikely.

Flush before you plant your butt. Then, create your own protective sheet by pulling off a lot of TP and folding it along the seat.. be careful not to get it wet.. then STD's will not have a chance to get to ya.. other than that .. I would think it depends on the place.. jail seats would be crawling with nasties.. a restaurant is a safe bet.. any decent one has a person in there every hour to at least disinfect the faucets and seats.. STD'S? there are probably quite a few that you can acquire on a seat.. but why take the chance? never plant your bare butt on anything YOU didn't clean.. if you have.. get tested. :)

Do not sit on a toilet seat number one.. but if you must.. it is possible to get crabs and maybe herpes from one if... your cooch is rubbing right on it... you are not wiping well and then do not take a good shower after going out and or before bed.. because the longer all those germs stay on you the worse it gets.. totally gross.

I have a habbit of cleaning well after going out and needing to use a public restroom even if I didnt sit on the seat... just a matter of cleanliess.

Very unlikely.
You need skin on skin contact.
If you are with a partner that has herpes and active then you can get it.

Warts you can not get by sitting on the toilet seat.
If that was the case there would be an epidemic.

I have been to many public restrooms.
and STD clean.

stop rubbing your money maker on the toilet seat girl. Get yourself a quality doppleganger and do not share it with your friends. Its not a relay baton.

The experts claim that you can't but honestly can you ever be sure? I always use disinfecting wipes and double seat covers before I sit down. I don't know which ones.
