Your language is not quite clear. However, yes, in Islamic history, prophet Muhammed tortured some people for some reasons. As for killing, I think any "soldier" should expect either to "kill" or to be "killed".

same Question i can ask you == does Bible promote torturing & killing of ONLY muslims?? Afghanistan, Iraq, kashmir, chechenya, Bosnia etc. its only christians who are doing this...if u ppl are raising question only on muslims.. i can say this is nothing but IslamoPHOBIA. no it does not. it promots peace and liking each other. there is a verse in the Quran, says that God created human beings into so many different groups and ethnicity to us people get to know each other.
enemies of Islam will say yes, which is not true at all.
