i imagine a medical specialist could run yet another try merely to be effective, yet except the try replaced into merely incorrect (like a lab mistakes), an quite intense blood sugar examining will be indicative of diabetes distinctive the time. the guy above me stated everyday human beings have highs and lows, yet no, they quite do not. Random tests and fasting tests have diverse degrees of ideal blood sugar. the in reality way you would have a "intense" is in case you ate or drank in the previous a fasting blood sugar try, as an celebration. That does no longer be intense blood sugar, although; that'd be everyday blood sugar for a random that replaced into mistakenly categorised as a fasting. by ability of all ability, ask for a 2d try, like an A1c. there isn't any damage in it. That being stated, I nevertheless imagine that in case your one blood sugar examining replaced into so intense that your medical specialist categorised you diabetic, that you probable are diabetic. Non-diabetics do not adventure diabetic-element blood sugar. after all, it really is why they are non-diabetic.

500. I passed my driving test for my driver's license, overslept school the next morning, got hospitalized that afternoon. I am type 1.
The worst part was at the beginning of treatment, when my sugar was normal, I felt like it was super low because it had been high for a couple months before I saw the doc

I was 536. This was probably not helped by the fact that it was November 1st, the day after Halloween, so I was hyped up on candy. But my doctor said I had been high like this for quite a while, because my A1C was over 9.

I honestly do not know what my sugar was when I was diagnosed. My doctor tested me with a regular meter when I told him my symptoms and it wouldn't even register...which I know now means it was over 600 or more.
BTW, for you European folks, To convert mmol/l of glucose to mg/dl, multiply by 18. To convert mg/dl of glucose to mmol/l, divide by 18 or multiply by 0.055.
So, for the gentleman @ 13 mmol/l, that equals 234 in the US. The gentleman with 28 mmol/l, that would be 504...and so on!

my son was diagnosed 2 weeks ago, his blood sugar was 514 and was in the hospital for 5 days. He was in ICU for a day and a half. We are taking him to a specialist tomorrow. We are now battling the low blood sugar!!! UGHHHHH , it is all scary to me.
