It is either Alzheimer's or Chlamydia. The best way to tell which one is to drive her out to the edge of town and leave her there. If she finds her way home, don't have sex with her.

Blood pressure consists of 2 numbers. The upper number (systolic) is the pressure when the heart is contracting. The lower number (diastolic) is the pressure when the heart is resting between beats.

Low diastolic blood pressure in an otherwise healthy individual is a sign of a healthy heart.

So relax, and feel blessed that your wife is healthy!

My bp is normally 100/70 (it is inherited on my mom's side)

Most normal blood pressures fall in the range of 90/60 mm Hg to 130/80 mm

If your wife's falls below that, she should have a complete physical.

The numbers would have been helpful, but since you state everything else is fine, I wouldn't worry about it unless a Dr tells you to.

Many women have what we men consider abnormally low blood pressure. If she is able to function at her normal level, doesn't get pale, cool, and clammy or abnormally short of breath when she exerts herself, and has no problems with her mental status, I wouldn't worry about it.

She can mention it to her Dr the next time she goes in and see what he/she says.

It's probably a good thing I tell her, she loves salt.
