Chips alone are just plain bad for you stale or not. But it won't kill ya!! You'll be fine. I wouldn't know why you would want to eat them in the first place..but if that's all you got then thats all you got.

It won't kill you, and it probably won't make you sick, but if you taste one chip, and it's stale, why would you eat any more. It is a bad idea. In the future, don't eat stale chips. In fact don't eat anything that is not fresh, or appears to be stale. Think about what you are putting into your body, for the sake of your health

Eating stale things is not bad in the since that it will hurt you, but that they just won't taste as fresh. You will be fine if you want to eat them like that, but most people don't care for eating stale things.

Eating any chips is bad for you. Try boiling small new potatoes with a little salt until soft. Much better! We eat a lot of new potatoes here in the UK and the best are generally from the channel island of Jersey (the British channel). They have a superior taste and tossed in a little butter and parsley taste magnificent in most recipes. It has been discovered that "transfats" are very bad for you and these are discovered in many cooking oils. Heed my warning for your future health.

There are alot of things in this world that are bad for you, stale chips not to sure...but desperate times bring about desperate measures don't you think?

No.. its not bad. As long as you are able to put in your mouth and you like aroma of stale chips, plus you are able to digest it, then there is nothing wrong.
