Mini Cheese Balls
Ingredients:
• 4 cups (16 oz) shredded Cheddar Cheese
• 2 (8-oz) packages cream cheese, softened
• 4 oz. crubled blue cheese
• 1 Tb. white Worcestershire sauce
• 1-2 tsp. garlic powder
• 1/2 tsp bottled hot pepper sauce
• 2 cups finely chopped walnuts
Method:
Position knife blade in food processor bowl; add first 6 ingredients. Process until smooth. Chill for 1 hour, if necessary. Shape into 1-inch balls, roll in nuts. Cover and chill until serving time.
Baked Potato Skins
Ingredients:
• 6 medium baking potatoes
• Oil for deep-fat frying
• 8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
• 1/3 cup chopped green onions
• 1/3 cup bacon bits
• Sour cream
Method:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Pierce potatoes with a fork. Microwave the potatoes on high until they are tender. Cut the potatoes in half lengthwise. Scoop the inside out of the potatoes, until a 1/4 inch shell remains. Heat oil to 365 degrees in a deep fryer or a deep saucepan. Place the potato shells in hot oil, fry until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Drain potatoes on paper towel. Fill the potato shells with cheese, green onion and bacon bits. Arrange in the prepared baking dish. Bake for 7 to 8 minutes, or until the cheese is melted. Serve hot with sour cream
Buffalo Wings
Ingredients:
• 3 lbs chicken wings
• 1/2 stick butter or margarine
• 3 oz of hot-pepper sauce
Method:
Cut off wing tips. Then cut in half at the joint. Fry until brown on all sides, 8-10 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Melt butter or margarine in small pan. Add hot-pepper sauce. For thicker sauce - add a little flour. Place wings in large bowl with lid. Pour on sauce, put on the lid, and shake, shake, shake. Serve with blue cheese dressing and celery sticks. Variation: Add chopped garlic to sauce.
Chicken Quesadillas
Ingredients:
• 2 cups cooked, chopped chicken
• 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
• 3/4 cup sour cream
• 3/4 cup salsa
• 10 medium flour tortillas
• non-stick spray
Method:
Mix together chicken, cheese, sour cream and salsa. Heat griddle or skillet to med-high. Spray one side of tortilla with non-stick spray, place sprayed side down on griddle, spread 1/2 cup filling on 1/2 of the tortilla and fold the other side of the tortilla over to form a half circle. Cook on each side until golden (about 3 min/side). Repeat with remaining tortillas. Serve with rice and fresh fruit or a nice green salad
Cream Cheese Fruit Dip
Ingredients:
• 3 oz. cream cheese
• 1 box powdered sugar
• 2-4 tbsp. milk
• 1 tbsp. lemon juice
• 2 tbsp. orange juice
• cool whip
Method:
Mix the cream cheese with an electric mixer until creamy. Add half the box of powdered sugar. Blend with mixer. Add the 2 tablespoons of milk, the lemon juice, and the orange juice. The mixture should be the consistency of a liquid. Add a little more powdered sugar if more sweetness is desired. Fold in cool whip (amounts depend on how many people are eating!). Serve with strawberries, cherries, apples, and any other fruit you like!
Ranch Snack Mix
Ingredients:
• 1 pkg(12 oz) mini pretzels
• 2 pkg(6oz) Bugles
• 1 can(10oz) cashews
• 1 pkg(6 oz) cheddar cheese fish crackers
• 1 envelope ranch salad dressing mix
• 3/4 cup vegetable oil
Method:
In 2 large bowls, combine pretzels, bugles, cashews. and crackers. Sprinkle with dressing mix; toss gently to combine. Drizzle with vegetable oil and toss mixture until well coated. Store in air tight containers
Monkey Bread
Ingredients:
• 4 (10 count) cans biscuits
• 1 cup butter, melted
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 3 Tablespoons cinnamon
• Nuts (optional)
• Bundt pan
Method:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut biscuits into fourths. Mix cinnamon and sugar. Shake biscuit pieces in cinnamon/sugar mixture (Ziploc bag works well). Pour 1/2 melted butter in Bundt pan. Layer bread and nuts alternately. Pour remaining cinnamon/sugar over top and add rest of melted butter. Bake 45 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from pan. (This is fun to make with children. They love to "pinch" off pieces of the finished product.)
Taco Dip
Ingredients:
• 1 can refried beans with chilis
• 1 cup mayonaise
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 pkg. taco seasoning
• 2 cups of shredded Mexican cheese
• 1/2 cup each of chopped scallions, green pepper and tomatoes
Method:
Spread refried beans evenly in the bottom of shallow dish. Mix mayonaise, sour cream and taco seasoning together. Spread over the beans. Sprinkle top with veggies of choice and cheese. Serve with chips.
Chinese Chicken Wings
Ingredients:
• MARINADE:
• 1/4 c soy sauce
• 1/3 c pineapple juice
• 1 tbl honey
• 1 tea minced garlic
• 1 tea minced gingeroot
• 2 tbl water
•
• CHICKEN:
• 1 1/2 lb skinned chicken wings cut at joints, tips discarded
Method:
Mix marinade ingredients. Pour over skinned chicken wings arranged in single layer in oblong baking pan. Toss to combine with marinade. Cover. Refrigerate at least 3 hours, preferably overnight. Drain off marinade. Bake 350 deg 30-40 min.
Spinach & Artichoke Dip
Ingredients:
• 1 (14 oz.) can artichoke hearts, drained
• 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach thawed & well drained
• 1 cup mayonnaise
• 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 2 1/2 cups shredded monterey jack cheese
Method:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a one quart baking dish. Chop artichokes finely. In a bowl, mix together chopped artichoke, spinach, mayonnaise, parmesan cheese, & 2 cups of the jack cheese. Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish; sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup jack cheese. Bake in the middle of the preheated oven until heated through and cheese is melted, about 15 to 20 minute

Friendship Tea
Ingredients:
• 2 1/2 cups Tang
• 1 3/4 cups of powdered instant tea
• 2 to 2 1/2 cups sugar
• 1 14 oz. package lemonade Kool-Aid
• 1 1/2 tsp. each, ground: cloves and cinnamon
Method:
Mix Tang, instant tea, lemonade mix, cloves and cinnamon and store in a tightly sealed container. To make the tea, add boiling water and 2 T. tea in a mug. Enjoy!
Fruit Smoothie
Ingredients:
• 1 mango, peeled and seeded
• 1 papaya, peeled and seeded or 1/4 of a pineapple, peeled and cored
• 1/2 cup fresh rasberries or strawberries
• 3/4 cup orange juice
• A few ice cubes, if desired
Method:
Place the fruit and orange juice in a blender and process until smooth. Adjust the amount of juice to create the consistency you prefer. If you like a frozen smoothie, use frozen fruit or add a few ice cubes. Serve in wine glasses with a strawberry garnish.
Planter's Punch
Ingredients:
• 2 cups white rum
• 3 cups orange juice
• 3 cups pineapple juice
• 10 to 12 dashes Angostura Bitters
• 1/4 cup Grenadine syrup
• lemon, lime and orange slices for garnish
Method:
Mix first 5 ingredients. Chill well. Searve over ice garnished with fruit.
Grandma's Holiday Punch
Ingredients:
• 1 12-oz. can frozen lemonade concentrate
• 1 10-oz. pkg. frozen strawberries in syrup
• 1 8-oz. can crushed pineapple
• 3 1-liter bottles ginger ale, chilled
• 1 cup rum or vodka (optional)
• Ice ring (optional)
Method:
In a blender container, combine frozen lemonade concentrate, frozen strawberries with their syrup, and undrained pineapple. Cover and blend until smooth. (May be made ahead and chilled, if desired.) To serve, pour strawberry mixture into a large punch bowl. Slowly pour ginger ale down side of bowl. Stir in rum or vodka, if desired. Add ice ring, if desired. Makes about 30 (4-oz.) servings.
Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade
Ingredients:
• 3 cups quartered strawberries
• 1 cup cold water
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1 6 ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate (undiluted)
• 2 cups sparkling water chilled
Method:
Combine first 3 ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Combine strawberry puree and lemonade in a pitcher. Stir until lemonade dissolves. Add sparkling water mixing water. Serve over ice. Serves 6
Cinnamon Sugar
Ingredients:
• 1/4 cup granulated sugar
• 4 tsp cinnamon
• Spice bottle with shaker lid
Method:
Thoroughly stir together sugar and cinnamon. Place a small funnel over the spice bottle; carefully pour in cinnamon sugar. To use: Sprinkle about 1 teaspoon on hot buttered toast, or sprinkle as desired on cappuccino
Bloody Mary Mix
Ingredients:
• 5 ounces bottled Sweet and Sour Mix
• 4 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
• 10 drops Tabasco Sauce
• 1/4 tsp Celery Salt
• 1/4 tsp Celery Seed
• 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
• 1/4 tsp Lemon Pepper Seasoning
• 1/4 tsp Seasoned Salt
• 1/4 tsp Dried Dill Weed
• 1/2 tsp Prepared Horseradish
• 1 46-oz can Tomato Juice, chilled
Method:
Combine everything but the tomato juice in a pint jar. Cover and refrigerate. When ready to use the Bloody Mary Mix, combine it with the chilled tomato juice, and you are ready to party!
Irish Coffee
Ingredients:
• 2 cups freshly brewed coffee
• 2 tbsp Bailey's Irish Cream Liqueur
• 1/4 cup whipping cream
• Dash of cinnamon to garnish
Method:
Pour coffee into two large coffee cups or mugs. Stir a tablespoon of Bailey's Irish Cream Liqueur into each cup. Whip the cream; place a spoonful on top of each. Sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy!
Fizzy Kiwi Lemonade
Ingredients
6 kiwifruit
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup lemon juice
1 liter carbonated water, chilled
1 recipe Kiwi Ice Cubes* or ice cubes (optional)
Directions
1. Peel kiwi. Puree peeled fruit in blender container. Strain mixture through a fine-mesh wire strainer placed over a bowl. Discard seeds (some may remain).
2. In a large pitcher combine strained kiwi, sugar and lemon juice. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Cover and chill 2 to 24 hours. Slowly add the chilled carbonated water just before serving. Stir.
3. Fill 6 tall glasses with Kiwi Ice Cubes, if desired, or with plain ice cubes. Pour the kiwi lemonade over the ice. Makes 6 servings.
*To make Kiwi Ice Cubes: Peel 4 additional kiwifruit and cut into 8 pieces each. Fill 2 ice-cube trays with cut fruit. Add cold water; freeze until firm.

for appetizers the best place to go is sam's club. Some people may grimace but there appetizer / finger food is very good. And most of it just needs to set out for a few hours. Most of the items are in the freezer section. My shopping list would look like this
-One hot item- like small meatball or cocktail weenies
-cheese and cracker tray
-2 dips
-chips
-Choc Cake or 2 types of bars
-Veggies and dip
-meat tray
-buns
For drinks- Have FUN!!!!
-Try mixed and blended drinks
-Target has ice cream pail size buckets with a forzen drink kits in side. Mix the drinks a night or two before- and before the party take it out and insta frozen drinks!
-Or buy various types of hard liquours and mixers and get some recipes off the internet. This way everyone can make there own drinks the way the want them.
-Or just buy boone's farm wine, cheese whiz, and ritz crackers and tell your guests it's a white trash party.

Watermelon Daiquiri's
Cut a watermelon into 1" cubes and freeze it
powdered sugar
fresh squeezed lime juice
dark rum
Loosely fill a blender with watermelon chunks. Add 2 Tbsp pwdrd sugar, add 1/2 cup or so of rum, and lime juice and blend until smooth. So delicious!!!!!

my favorite for parties are ham roll ups and ham wraps ..meat roll ups are where you take ham .."the cheapest ham works the best ...and you put cream cheese on the inside then roll them up ..i tend to do half with green onions and half without ...meat wraps are where you take ham and chop it up into small peices take a tortilla shell and mx the ham with cream cheese and place it into the tortilla shell ...then put in the fridge for about an hour in a bag then take it out slice into bite sized circles and place a toothpick in them "they are very good " ...a drink that is good to serve at a party is 7up and sprite mixed together with ice cream mixed in with it ...."i have found that sherbert works the best mixed in " another drink you can serve if you are serving liquor is milkshake quakes ...it consists of vodka one shot a little milk a little kahlua and chocolate or vanilla ice cream

Make a five layer chip dip and put out some scoops...it is always the first thing gone at my parties! (bottom layer:refried beans,then sour cream, then salsa, cheese, and little onions)
But out some finger foods...fruits and veggies, crackers and cheese(get the cheese shapes from a grocery store...the guest always think they are cute)

This is my favorite Dump Dip.
2 cans black beans
1 can corn
1 jar salsa
Dump and mix. Serve with lime flavored tortilla chips. Yum!

punch is really easy to make, you can add 7-up or sprite along with a can of pinapple juice and frozen sorbert. equal parts and just taste to suite your style. put some cups on the side and there ya go. oh and i forgot to tell you to add a small jar of cherries!!

**Baked Pimiento Cheese Spread **
1½ C. mayo
4 oz. jar diced drained pimientos
1 tsp. worcestershire
1 tsp. finely grated onion
1/4 tsp. red pepper
8 oz. block of extra sharp cheese, grated
8 oz. block of sharp cheese, grated
Mix together, spoon into greased 1½ qt. baking dish. (I have an oval corning dish I've been using) as it makes quite a bit.
Bake 20 min on 350 degrees. Serve with cracker, baguette slices, celery sticks, broccoli, whatever.

** Broccoli Cheese Squares **
3 Tbsp. butter, melted
3 eggs
1 cup SR flour
1 cup milk
1 tsp. salt
2 (10 oz) frozen broccoli, cooked and drained
1 (8 oz) pkg shredded sharp cheese
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
1/4 tsp. pepper
Pour Butter into 9x13 dish or pan. In a bowl beat eggs add milk then flour and salt/pepper. Mix in broccoli, onion and cheese.
Spoon into baking dish. Bake 350* for 30-35 mins...until starts to brown along edges. Allow to stand 5 minutes and cut into squares or triangles. Yieled: 12 squares

** Festive Shrimp Pinwheels **
1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1/3 cup garlic-and-herb spreadable cheese (from 5.2- to 6.5-oz container)
1/2 cup coarsely chopped cooked shrimp
2 tablespoons chopped green onions
Heat oven to 350°F. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray. Unroll dough and separate into 2 long rectangles; press each into 12x4-inch rectangle, firmly pressing perforations to seal.
Spread cheese over each rectangle. Sprinkle each with shrimp and onions; press in lightly.
Starting with one short side, roll up each rectangle; press edge to seal. With serrated knife, cut each roll into 8 slices; place cut side down on cookie sheet.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet. Serve warm.
