I recently had lunch with a homosexual HIV positive man who we'll call "Jehovah". We didn't touch or anything, but I'm afraid he may have put the AIDS on my pizza when I was in the restroom.

He keeps sending me emails joking about giving me "the gift", I'm worried, HELP!

Oh no! You can't get it from him unless you did you know what OR if he got blood all over the pizza and it entered an open wound on your body. Did that happen? If it didn't, you are 100000 percent safe, promise!!

omg i think u need some lessons about AIDS.. AIDS can only transfer by body fluid. before the virus become AIDS, the virus is called HIV..

HIV transmission :
- anal and vaginal intercourse and other SEXUAL activity in which body fluid are exchanged.
- sharing needles..

so the answer is no..

eventhough u had a kiss with someone that has AIDS, u will not get AIDS, because saliva can't transfer the virus..

remember HIV and AIDS are 2 different things.. AIDS is caused by HIV.. if u already have HIV, but u really really take care of your body, u can get longer time to live..

2 weeks - 6 months = infection with HIV
6 months - --- = HIV become positive
10 years = HIV+ or without symptoms

** 1+3 years (some maybe sooner than that) = AIDS --> death

Reducing the risk of HIV transmission:
-eliminate the risk
-abstain from sexual intercourse and any exchange of semen, vaginal fluids, or blood
-abstain from injectable drugs
-lifelong monogamy (one person) with an unifected partner..

So, to answer your question " can having lunch with someone give you the AIDS? " the answer is simple and 100% accurate = NO!!

because.. the AIDS ONLYYYYYY can be transfered by FLUID EXCHANGE.. excluding the saliva..

so becareful...

Firstly, the disease needs the respect it has earned, it is called, THE AIDS. It sounds like you might become a victim of THE AIDS like Curt Kobain was. The shotgun to the melon was to only speed up the inevitible. This is what you get for sleeping with strange men after your rock concert. All he had to do was SNEEZE on the pizza, THE AIDS is very contractive. Sorry.

The infection due to HIV in its final stages is called AIDS.
Infection due to HIV occurs through:
1. Unprotected sexual intercourse with an infected partner. Regular and consistent use of condoms during sexual intercourse means protected sex and minimizes the chances of getting HIV and other sexually transmitted infections.
2. Transfusion of infected blood or blood products.
3. Use of infected needles as in injecting drug use or in health care settings.
4. From mother to child.

HIV 'CANNOT' spread by casual contact such as touching, holding hands, body contact in crowded public places, shaking hands, working or playing together, sharing food, vessels and clothes, eating food cooked by an infected person, light kissing, mosquito and other insect bites, swimming pools, and toilets.

The A, B, C of HIV prevention are:
A= Abstinence
B= Being faithful to one single partner and
C= Consistent and correct use of condoms.

Since u seem to have a computer and internet please spend about 20-30 minutes and read about HIV/AIDS.There are numerous websites that tell u about HIV.Probably u can start off with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AIDS.

HIV/AIDS is not something to be taken lightly.

Stay Safe.

If you don't trust him and feel that he will not level with you and feel your pizza was tainted..then I would go for a HIV test to get a baseline..then I would follow as they recommend (I think its baseline then 2months, 6months, then a year) and this should ease your mind...I would be very serious in talking about this with Jehovah and make sure he understands what a burden this is putting on you as a health scare and he could be charged with assault if in fact he did something that exposed you to HIV.

Not to worry, this Jehovah you refer to is what is known as a "bugchaser". Seeking out, and then passing on, the AIDS, is quite normal and expected behaviour for a bugchaser. You can feel comforted knowing that you have participated in a ritual which has deep personal meaning for Jehovah. Your death will not be in vain.

Come on. He probably knows you're paranoid and is messing with you.

I lived with a friend who had full blown aids and I never got it.

Just don't let him sodomize you and you'll be ok.
