Sleep adnea is a treateble disease. It is soooo common that if all people with sleep apnea got disability, American workforce would be cut by 2/3!

Have your CPAP adjusted, U might need a surgery to remove that thing that hangs in your throat. Lose weight if you must.

You can go to the SSI web site. The standard for SSI is that you will not recover. Sorry. I tried myself after open-heart surgery and was not able to get it. I am doing better and working 40 hours now that at the time I didn't think I would work again. If you can start walking even a little bit to lose a few pounds this will help you sleep. At this time I have lost 20# and sleeping better. Good Luck

It should, mainly with people who have been medically approved to use the CPAP machine and have a history of falling asleep while talking, walking, or having a conversation. Or if your heart skip beats while asleep. There our other people who get SSI, who are in much better shape than someone with sleep apnea.
