I enjoy the time we have together. We do whatever comes out that day, it can be going to the park, beach, we go swimming every Sunday morning, we go skating, ride our bicycles, go on the tram(they love this, even if it is just to go round and come back home), we go to the zoo, to pick flowers.....Lots of things.
Thank you for all your suggestions anyway.
I'm going to have to put this question for voting, since I can't really choose one answer from all these, very difficult!
Just enjoy whatever you do with them, before they grow up and don't want you round anymore.:-(
Thanks for all your answers.

Try to spend as much time with them as possible on Saturday and then take them to Church on Sunday.

My oldest goes to his dad every weekend but I usually take the baby to visit family. When he's older, I'll start taking him to the park and stuff. Well I do sometimes do that now but he is so lazy that he won't even crawl so there's not much point in that.
When it's the holidays, I take both the boys on day trips, usually to local places like Stratford. Last year, we visited the butterfly farm and went on a boat. I took the big'un to Warwick Castle. The little'un was there but he couldn't see anything because he was still (just) in my tummy which is quite a coincidence really because the last holiday I had with my parents, the big'un was in my tummy.

Mines only 3 so at the moment we either go to the park and play down there for ages, or go over her cousins. We also go on little outings, I live right by a zoo,so we go over there quite a lot. And sometimes we just mess around in the garden.

Go ride bikes. Go to the local swimbad. Or go to the park, playground, or go get ice cream at the local gelato parlor. There is even a furniture store near here that has a playground on the top floor and we buy stickers on the way out. Eating out is fun too, since weekends noone is in a hurry.

On the weekends, send them to the sitter or grandma's and have some "you" time.
Take them to a movie during the day and do the video game thing at night.
Play board games on Saturday (have pizza or taco's) Go to church on Sunday.
Take them to a nursing home or somewhere they are allowed to do volunteer work.
How about the library and challenge to read one good book a month. Have them act it out if possible for family entertainment and record it.
Teach them how to clean up. Turn the music up loud and everybody in one room working as a team. They can always dust and sweep/vacuum.

spend time together. My kids love bowling. And the movies. Or we go out for walks since it's nice out now. My kids are also 2 and 4 though. And we visit family also.

It depends, sometimes he's just hanging out with his mates, but if he wants to do something with me, we usually go to Bermuda (Bermuda Park, not Bermuda the country), and watch a film at the cinema or play pool, he's a bit of a hustler I'm afraid, he plays poorly for the first game, I gain my confidence, then he absolutely thrashes me!

I don't have kids, but if I did I'd take them to the park to play on the swings and the slide, or take them to feed the duckies or to a zoo or a farm.

We go to the playground, to the zoo, hiking in the woods, grocery shopping, for walks along the lake and we go to the swimming pool.
