Supraventricular events refers to the upper, smaller and less important part of your heart. Sometimes the heart beats a bit irregularly but these events are generally not a problem. Sometimes they come about because of stress or caffeine or lack of sleep. They can be treated with a simple beta blocker medicine but most of the time you don't need it. Good luck!

the heart has a conduction system that consists in atrial node, inter atrial fibers, atrial ventricular node, the His fibers and the purkinje fibers. any event that happens between the atrial node and the atrial ventricular node is a supraventricular event. the rest is ventricular. as supraventricular events u have: sinus tachycardia, atrial tachycardia, atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, and problems in the atrial ventricular node.

They are extra beats that originate above the middle of your heart, or in your atrium. They are not life-threatening, and not even dangerous as long as they come and go on their own. Everybody has them, some people are just more aware than others.
