How is it transmitted and which type survives outside the body longest?

I would have to say genital herpes. I have genital herpes and I've seen tons of pictures and it is pretty nasty. There is no cure for it but luckily it is treatable. The sores from it are really gross and very painful! It's also an STD that a woman can pass to her baby when she is giving birth. It's a pretty bad STD.

The most obvious and disgusting STD to catch besides HIV is Herpes. This STD will put open draining sores on genital of the person effected.

There are plenty of STDs out there to choose from. The best thing is to avoid getting anything all together by taking the appropriate measures to protect yourself. Many of the STDs out there have some bad consequences on one's health if left untreated.

gonnorhea or chlamydia. both cause a nasty yellowish discharge for males and females. they are both easily tested and treated. you can either pee in a cup or have a doctor use a special swab to check if you have it. a lot of people dont know they have it though. thats why a lot of people have it and pass it along to others. they will both survive in the body until they are treated and can cause further infection if not.
