I'm a lacto-vegetarian who loves Japanese food, but I'd like to know if Japanese mayonnaise is also made with egg like the commercial ones?

Would also appreciate if anyone knows the list of ingredients. Thanks!

I do not eat eggs, and someone told me before Japanese mayonnaise are made with different ingredients. So I'm hoping egg isn't one of them.

Hushpuppies Ingredients: 1 cup yellow stone-ground corn meal 1 tsp. double-acting baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 2-3 tsps. of minced onions or hot peppers 1 egg 1/2 cup milk For a dozen or so hush puppies, Beat 1 egg into 1/2 cup milk. Combine the yellow stone-ground corn meal, baking powder, salt, and minced onions or hot peppers and mix into a batter. Scoop the batter into the desired size for your hush puppies (2" diameter) and drop into the turkey fryer and cook until golden brown or a little darker. TIP! make sure there is enough room in your fryer to drop four or five mixes without touching the sides or the bird.
