You would have to have sores in your mouth, or a cut of some sort. Since you might have some sort of blister or cut and not be aware of it, I would avoid swapping body fluids with someone who has HIV or who's HIV status is unknown.

Maybe try using a flavored condom. Better yet, stick to a sexual partner who you know is "safe" in a committed relationship if you are going to be having any sort of unprotected sex, oral or otherwise.

Very good. More men give HIV to more women than women to men because of the deposit of semen into women. In oral sex, all are equal. It doesn't matter whether you have a sore or blister in your mouth or not. Small amounts of blood can be carried in the semen, same tube that urine passes through remember, and will not turn the urine or the semen red. YOU WILL NEVER KNOW! NEVER, NEVER HAVE SEX WITH AN HIV POSITIVE PERSON IF YOU DON'T ALREADY HAVE IT. The other person will always get it, it may be years, but it always happens.

HIV is transmitted via body fluids, including semen. So if you're not practising safe sex, you can contract it if the semen of an infected partner comes into contact with any lesions or open wounds in your mouth. Do remember too that you might not even be aware that you've got broken skin in your mouth as some lesions can be so tiny, you won't feel them at all.

actaully even if you have HIV you should not have unprotected sex with someone who is HIV positive as there are many strains of the HIV virus and contracting a second, third, or fourth one could seriously shorten your life span. i really hope 1)your OBGYN didnt tell you that or 2) if your an OBGYN your not telling people that

If your partner or you is infected then there is a high possibility. For example; if you just freshly brushed your teeth you have microscopic cuts in your mouth, when having these cuts you are exposed to all sorts of diseases. Through oral contact (including kissing). So use a condom.

You can get it, do not be misled. If you are putting yourself at risk by having unprotected sex then it is your own stupidity. They make flavored condoms, it may not be the best feeling of having rubber or latex in your mouth but at least you are being safe.
