Where I live hot dogs come 10 to a pack & buns 8 to a pack.

I'm guessing the hot dog company used this tactic to get the buyer to buy an extra back to fill up the buns...and it works. And with the leftover buns, keep em in the freezer for another night.

Well, if you end up buying 80 hot dogs, you can buy 8 packs of buns and you wont have any leftovers.

Buy bun sized weenies. Only 8 to a package, and you dont' have an empty-bun-bite on each end of your hot dog.

i agree...it's planned so you will have to buy more hot dogs to use the remaining buns and then more buns to use the remaining hot dogs until you go broke (or buy 80 hot dogs)
