I have heard of more people getting the surgery to remove the bad part of the lung.
I am really suffering bad from COPD. I would give anything to be able to live a normal life again. Then a friend of mine told me someone that works for her is having the lung reduction surgery next Monday. AND he still smokes three packs of cigarettes per day. Now, I ask you WHY they would operate on someone like him? He has no thoughts of quitting. I don't get it...............
