That depends on what your diet is like now. If the total number of calories you would intake with the subway diet is less than what you intake now, then you will loose weight. Cutting calories isn't the only way to loose weight, you need to exercise too! My sister and I meet up and walk to the sub way either by her house or mine, each about a mile or so once a week. This gives us a great time to spend together, and we're being healthy! My weakness at Subway is the chipotle sauce! That has almost as much fat as mayo. I think you need a little bit more variety than just subs everyday. Try cooking at home. You can save a lot of money that way, and you can have different foods everyday. You can eat just about anything you want, as long as you eat in moderation! I have dessert almost every day, but I also work out everyday. One brownie, or one half cup of ice cream is plenty for me. Have fun, and do what feels right for you! I wish you luck, and a wonderful evening.

It depends really on your lifestyle more then just cutting out cheese and mayo. Obviously every little bit helps but for the most part weight loss will depend on your exercise and diet though out the day. Following your sub with a few Twinkies obviously wouldn't facilitate great weight loss. However eating a sub after a jog would be a good option.
If you want to lose a pound every few weeks then not changing anything but cutting out cheese and mayo might work. If you want to lose a couple pounds a week, you'll have to exercise at least 30 minutes a day, cardio preferably, and eat a sensible diet.
*before making any diet or exersise changes seek advice from your doctor.

Yes. The fat content of those subway sandwiches versus, say, McDonalds and Burger King burgers, is negligible. If you stuck with that and got a bit of exercise the pounds would melt--as long as you don't have some metabolism problems, in which case a visit to a nutritionist or just a bit of research would be called for. Often, metabolism problems (as long as they are not caused by a medical problem) can be solved by eating more of a certain food, avoiding others, and taking certain supplements. Now, if you drink Coke or Mountain Dew all day long, you won't get quick results. In fact, if you usually eat right anyway, removing the sodas from your diet can make for a big change all by itself.

Like anything else all that matters is calories when it comes to losing weight. A pound of fat is made up of 3,500 calories and your daily intake depends on how much you weigh. A simple rule of thumb is that it takes your body 12 calories a day to support one pound. So say you weigh 160 pounds, times that by 12 and you get how many calories you are supposed to eat per day to keep yourself at that weight. It also works too if you want to weigh a certain weight just times that by 12 and you'll get the amount of calories you'll need to eat to achieve that weight.
As far as Subway is concerned go to their web site listed below you'll find how many calories are in all their sandwiches and salads. Good luck on your diet! And remember when it comes to Subway their wraps have less calories than the subs because the wraps don't have all that bread. Every little bit counts.

What else, if anything else will you be eating and forget the Salami or Meatball subs. You would have to eat the low fat ones....like the Turkey, Ham or Roast Beef. Which are all very good.

yes, but keep in mind that if you don't eat a wide variety of foods, you're likely to have a deficiency of some sort. the best way to be healthy and in good shape is to eat lots of whole grains, fruits, and veggies, and to avoid meat, sugar, and processed foods. keep your foods as close to their natural form as possible. (meaning apples, not apple hot pies from mcdonald's.) that way you'll have all the vitamins and minerals you need.
and if you're cutting out all dairy and meat, be sure to have extra calcium and vitamin b12. (most soy and rice milks are enriched with these.)
