Actually, did you know that nicotine can help memory and people with dementia. So to answer your question, people who smoke are not necessarily retarded. In fact they be be smarter. But I would not advocate smoking

I'm not any more retarded than the average person. I smoked cigarettes for 30 years. I was in college when I started . My roommate also smoked and it seemed cool and fun and I felt like an adult more than a child. It was great for a long time....and then I was hooked and had a hard time quitting. I did quit in 1997 because my allergies and sinus problems made it impossible to breathe. I had help from a Doctor who hypnotized me to quit and I wore a nicotine patch for about 2 weeks. Then I was done with smoking. I don't want to die anymore than anyone else wants to. But, as my Dad used to say "Life is terminal...Nobody survives it!! LOL

I think people who smoke are not retarded or just want to die. I know, because I'm one of them. I know it's not good for my health, but it's not that easy to quit. If you've smoke and tried quiting, you know how hard it is. But I do want to quit smoking. I've tried 3 times. It's just like being addicted to drugs, which it's like a drug. Once you get hooked on them, you find it harder and harder to quit the longer you do it. If you have friends or family that smoke, instead of calling them retarted or saying they just want to die. Why not try and help them quit instead.

no, it does affect ppl. but its their choice. as long as they're not smoking around me, i dont really care. life is all about choices, and i can understand that some ppl find a cigarette relaxing, and they might not care if they die sooner from smoking. i mean, i dont know if i'm really gonna enjoy being 100. lol.
i just dont get how ppl START. have you ever seen someone take a first puff? its just pure comedy. they're usually in total agony. lol. i dont know how anyone goes back for more.
