There are a few things it could be. 110 is not a healthy resting heart rate, you definitely should see a Dr. But you could have a heart problem. There's a good possibility that you have SVT (Super Ventricular Tachycardia) Which is where your heart rate increases, and your heart contracts so fast that it is unable to pump blood well. I think you probably need some exercise to lower your resting rate, and you need to see a Dr. about the 160, a heart rate of 160 can cause hypoxia (low blood oxygen) to your organs such as your brain and heart.

You most likely don't have a heart problem, but it sounds like you might need some exercise.

When you get upset, your sympathetic nervous system kicks in and increases your heart rate and blood pressure. Your sympathetic nervous system is involved in the fight or flight response. It is your body's compensation for any stressful situation. Learn to manage your anger and you will not have this problem.

A resting heart rate of 110 is high though. You heart rate normally should be 85 or less. Maybe you do have an anxiety issue or perhaps you are overweight. Cardio exercise is very important in strengthening your heart, with lowers your resting heart rate. Someone who exercises daily will have a resting heart rate in the 60s.

As for myself. I run 2 miles per day. My resting heart rate is about 65. When I am jogging, my heart rate increases to about 120 to 130. When I am running pretty fast, it goes up to about 175.

You should probably see a doctor to make sure that you don't have any underlying conditions. Obviously we can't diagnose you over the internet.

See a doc. Your resting heartrate is way too high. Most people have a heart rate of 60-80.
