on a person we both know. The what seems to be an eye infection will go away and always come back in the middle of his top eyelid. Any idea what it could be ? My guess is herpes zoster

I don't think it is herpes zoster (shingles). Herpes zoster is usually a big rash on your body, like your arms, legs, etc. It's probably an eye infection and he/she isn't taking care of it, so it keeps coming back.

Maybe he/she went to the Dr's and had a needle stuck into it for a biopsy. I know two people at my work who had a test on their eyelids. One was to check for cancer and the other was to measure their cholesterol which I've never heard of before but it's true.

I used to continually purely positioned it on the backside, yet these days i've got been putting eyeliner on the properly suited instead. i like it greater useful on the properly suited because of the fact it makes you lashes look particularly fuller on the backside of your eyelid.

It could be just that! A sty. They can come back. Sounds like your friend should have it checked out if it keeps recurring.
