If you ate a vegetarian, then you would be eating meat (not vegetarian). If your serious about a veg diet be sure to include a protein supplement, or you will get fatigued easily.

Believe it or not, you could still put on weight on a veg. diet if you're not careful... avoid things like curries made with coconut milk, casseroles, and especially desserts.
