I'd say generally not, there would need to be an exchange of fluids, or more actual physical contact with that person.
Aids for instance is only passed by exchanging bodily fluids (ie unprotected sex, and only then if the fluids he passes on come into contact with say a cut or something like that usually). Most others die after a short period of time from being removed from the body - so if he/she has hepatitis, then I believe that if they lost a little skin or blood on the jeans, it would die shortly after.
That's what I've been led to believe anyway, and presumably you are wearing your own underwear under the jeans to protect your um... private area.

Like the other guy said, if it is some sort of parasite, then possibly, but a disease, hard to say. Probably not, as it usually involves intimate contact, so if you are wearing underwear then you are probably safe. Also if you wash the jeans then that will probably kill anything bacteria. My question though is, why would you want to wear anything from someone who has an STD?

Are STDs spread by sharing clothes? What about washed clothes?
Again the only possible STDs that could possibly be spread by sharing clothes are crabs and scabies. Again this would be extremely uncommon and not usually a big worry. Washing clothes removes any of these little creatures.

STDS are sexually transmitted. Unless you had sex with the girl you are not going to get an STD from her. Don't throw away your jeans, just wash them. I have genital herpes and NONE of my girlfriends has ever gotten it from me by using a pair of my jeans.

If they had a cut on their leg, and the blood or body fluids got on the jeans, then you put on those same jeans without washing them, and had a cut on your leg in which the patogens could enter your body, then yes, you could get it.
But its unlikely.

Just wash the jeans!! You can get crabs from unwashed jeans, but it's not very likely.

If you're really worried about it WASH them, use clorox 2 so your jeans don't fade but still get bleached.
