For your question's sake, diabetes. Although diabetes can be more serious, even fatal if you don't take care of it, in most cases (if initially caught early enough) can be kept under control and the person can virtually lead a long and healthly life.

Living with skin conditions is very frustrating because there are so many different kinds and many doctors don't know how to relieve them. So you're stuck with ugly skin and a constant reminder that you have skin conditions (i.e. rashes that ich tremendously, pain, and irritation), not to mention it negatively affecting your social life and self-esteem.

And to top it all off, some people have both to deal with. Hats off to those whom are dealing with one or both in their lives. Life is worth living no matter how bad it may seem. Remember, even though somebody may have it better than you, there will always be somebody that will have it worse than you -and they're putting right along. Take care of your health -it's the center of everything you have!

Diabetes.
i'm diabetic, but i had acne for 15years.
You can hide the fact you have diabetes,
But not a skin condition, people judge you by the way you look in this day and age.
It's not right, but it's human nature.
So feeling rough... and looking rough was not good.
A lot of people suffer from both, and as diabetics tend to take longer to heal with skin conditions, it a bad state to be in.
So, back to your question, i am happier living with diabetes, than living with a skin condition.
Well, that is my personal view.
Diabetes should never be taken lightly though, it can and does kill.

Strength to all fellow diabetics!

It depends on the skin condition. I've had diabetes for 39 years. I had a heartattack from diabetes 7 years ago and caught MRSA in the hospital. MRSA almost killed me in a matter of months. I've lived with diabetes for a long long time.

This is an idiotic question. Unless the skin disease is skin cancer, you can't die from it. Diabetes is a constant struggle until you die. I'm actually insulted by this question. You're making light of a disease that kills millions of people a year.

Skin conditions? What does that mean, acne.. skin cancer?

I guess I would take a "skin condition" over diabetes.
