At worst case, as noitall147 said, it could be Mononucleosis. Although to diagnose it 100%, it requires a blood test.
But it is probably strep throat, nothing antibiotics can't handle. If you suffered anxiety during your sexual encounter, it is normal for pain to increase as anxiety can create physical pain in most cases.
I have yet to hear of a sore throat as a sympton of an STD. What ever other people may have said on here, it is impossible to get genital warts ("GENITAL" should be the hint here) or genital herpes ("GENITAL" should also be the hint here) in your throat as both sexually transmitted diseases only attack your epidermis (outer layer of skin). So stop panicking.
Visit your doctor and he'll fix you up with the right prescription for your throat. :)
Best of luck.

I got diagnosed with herpes (type 2) about 7 years ago, when I was still attending college and had a dumb one-night stand. I realize loads of girls will declare this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. After all, who wants to go out with a girl that has sores round her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/n7Stc everything got better.
Not only was I able to eliminate all remnants of the herpes virus from my system in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so fortunate to write that just last week, in front of everyone in a crowded cafe, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This system gave me back the opportunity to be happy and experience true love. Now I want to help you too by sharing this with the World.

Seek medical attention. And don't have unprotected sex, even oral sex.
