You probably simply need to have your CPAP pressure increased. This is common in patients with obstructive sleep apnea, especially if they have gained weight. Your doctor may be able to increase your pressure based on your previous study, but you make actually require a new CPAP titration study where they try different settings on you at a sleep lab.

I found out I had sleep apnea about 3 years ago. I have not used my cpap machine because I hate the mask, I wake up in the middle of the night and panic. But, there are other alternatives, you can use nasal pillows ask your doctor about it or the sleep lab where you had the test done. And also you might need to have the lab increase the air pressure, I was at 9.

The current settings on your CPAP unit are not adequate for you. You need to talk to your doctor about having another sleep study done to determine what changes need to be made on your CPAP machine in order to resolve this issue.

i lost a lot of weight and exercise now, i have no episodes unless i sleep on my back, train yourself to sleep only on your sides, and lose weight and start a slow exercise program to make your heart healthy again!
